sleep training
At Choose Joy Nursing, we know the essential role sleep plays in the well-being of both baby and parents. Our goal is to support families in establishing healthy sleep habits, ensuring better rest for everyone in the household.
Choose from two options tailored to your needs: Intensive In-Home Sleep Training or a Virtual Consultation.
in-home sleep training
Get the ultimate hands-on support with our intensive in-home sleep training. After a 1-hour virtual consultation, one of our expert night nurses will stay in your home for 3-5 consecutive nights (12-hour shifts) to implement your tailored sleep plan. During this time, we'll focus on:
Helping your baby sleep through the night
Empowering you with the tools to maintain healthy sleep routines
Providing support and education on healthy sleep habits
Encouraging self-care for parents, as they’re the key to successful sleep training
A detailed sleep schedule for naps, feeding, and bedtime
virtual sleep consultation
Our virtual sleep consultations provide tailored support to help your baby and family achieve better sleep. In this 1-hour FaceTime consultation, we’ll assess your baby’s sleep habits, answer your questions, and craft a custom plan that suits your family's routine. You'll receive:
A personalized sleep plan (naps, feeding, bedtime)
Recommendations to help your baby sleep longer and self-soothe
3-5 days of follow-up messaging support, including feedback, notes, and voice memos
We kindly ask that you log the 24-hour period before your consultation so we have an idea of your baby’s baseline.
Availability may vary depending on when you inquire and nurse scheduling. Please reach out to us as early as possible to reserve your spot on our calendar!
benefits of sleep training
You don’t have to wait until your baby is months old or until you’re sleep-deprived to build healthy sleep habits. We can help you establish routines from the first night home from the hospital, setting up strategies that support both your baby’s sleep and your family’s well-being.
As a mom, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. That’s why we focus on both your baby’s sleep and YOUR well-being—your emotional health, physical health, nutrition, and self-care. We’re here to support you through every step of the sleep training journey. We understand it can feel overwhelming, and our goal is to help regulate your nervous system and create a calm, grounded space for you—so you can do the same for your child.
Our sleep training method offers:
Safe, effective strategies to help your baby sleep longer and develop healthy sleep patterns.
Personalized guidance tailored to your baby’s needs and your family’s lifestyle.
Ongoing support with follow-up messaging to ensure the plan is working and provide additional tips.
We’ll begin by having you track your baby’s 24-hour log, helping us create the best plan for your little one. By the end of the week, you’ll see improvements in your baby’s sleep, and most importantly, feel equipped and in control. If you need additional time or support, you can purchase extra weeks of messaging assistance.
Every family and baby is unique. Our approach is personalized to ensure your baby’s sleep and your peace of mind, so you feel refreshed and ready to take on the world again.
WHY SLEEP MATTERS
You are your baby’s coregulator, and taking care of yourself is taking care of your baby. We believe that investing in your rest now is an investment in your baby’s future — giving your whole family the gift of rest, health, and peace.
When parents are able to sleep, they heal faster, think clearer, and feel more confident.
When moms are well-rested, postpartum anxiety and mood disorders are significantly reduced.
When parents are supported and educated, the whole family thrives — not just for a season, but for the long term.

We kindly recommend booking 12-hour shifts, with 13 hours being ideal for best results. Availability may vary depending on when you inquire and nurse scheduling. In our experience, 13-hour shifts—from 6 PM to 7 AM—offer the most support. This allows the nurse to assist with both bath and bedtime routines and stay with your baby through the night, supporting a 7 PM–7 AM sleep goal.
