sleep training

At Choose Joy Nursing, we know the essential role sleep plays in the well-being of both baby and parents. Our goal is to support families in establishing healthy sleep habits, ensuring better rest for everyone in the household.

Choose from two options tailored to your needs: Intensive In-Home Sleep Training or a Virtual Consultation.

in-home sleep training

Get the ultimate hands-on support with our intensive in-home sleep training. After a 1-hour virtual consultation, one of our expert night nurses will stay in your home for 3-5 consecutive nights (12-hour shifts) to implement your tailored sleep plan. During this time, we'll focus on:

  • Helping your baby sleep through the night

  • Empowering you with the tools to maintain healthy sleep routines

  • Providing support and education on healthy sleep habits

  • Encouraging self-care for parents, as they’re the key to successful sleep training

  • A detailed sleep schedule for naps, feeding, and bedtime

virtual sleep consultation

Our virtual sleep consultations provide tailored support to help your baby and family achieve better sleep. In this 1-hour FaceTime consultation, we’ll assess your baby’s sleep habits, answer your questions, and craft a custom plan that suits your family's routine. You'll receive:

  • A personalized sleep plan (naps, feeding, bedtime)

  • Recommendations to help your baby sleep longer and self-soothe

  • 3-5 days of follow-up messaging support, including feedback, notes, and voice memos

We kindly ask that you log the 24-hour period before your consultation so we have an idea of your baby’s baseline.

Availability may vary depending on when you inquire and nurse scheduling. Please reach out to us as early as possible to reserve your spot on our calendar!

benefits of sleep training

You don’t have to wait until your baby is months old or until you’re sleep-deprived to build healthy sleep habits. We can help you establish routines from the first night home from the hospital, setting up strategies that support both your baby’s sleep and your family’s well-being.

As a mom, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. That’s why we focus on both your baby’s sleep and YOUR well-being—your emotional health, physical health, nutrition, and self-care. We’re here to support you through every step of the sleep training journey. We understand it can feel overwhelming, and our goal is to help regulate your nervous system and create a calm, grounded space for you—so you can do the same for your child.

Our sleep training method offers:

  • Safe, effective strategies to help your baby sleep longer and develop healthy sleep patterns.

  • Personalized guidance tailored to your baby’s needs and your family’s lifestyle.

  • Ongoing support with follow-up messaging to ensure the plan is working and provide additional tips.

We’ll begin by having you track your baby’s 24-hour log, helping us create the best plan for your little one. By the end of the week, you’ll see improvements in your baby’s sleep, and most importantly, feel equipped and in control. If you need additional time or support, you can purchase extra weeks of messaging assistance.

Every family and baby is unique. Our approach is personalized to ensure your baby’s sleep and your peace of mind, so you feel refreshed and ready to take on the world again.

WHY SLEEP MATTERS

You are your baby’s coregulator, and taking care of yourself is taking care of your baby. We believe that investing in your rest now is an investment in your baby’s future — giving your whole family the gift of rest, health, and peace.

  • When parents are able to sleep, they heal faster, think clearer, and feel more confident.

  • When moms are well-rested, postpartum anxiety and mood disorders are significantly reduced.

  • When parents are supported and educated, the whole family thrives — not just for a season, but for the long term.

  • "I reached out to Choose Joy Nursing for sleep training support after my 4 month old son was waking every 1-2 hours All. Night. Long. for weeks. I live out of state, so we did a FaceTime consultation where she gave me sleep training tips, personalized goals, and lots of emphasizing on taking care of ME as well as my baby. In less than a week and a half (I have a seriously stubborn strong willed little boy), our little Liam was sleeping through the night! I absolutely could not have done it and stuck it out without the support every step of the way. Sleep training is brutal, y'all. And I read all the books and researched all the methods and still couldn't seem to feel confident in what I was doing. Now we are not only able to sleep through the night without a wake up, we are also on a much better daytime schedule and feeding routine! I could seriously go on and on but would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Worth every penny!

  • "Your tips and strategies still help us today (at 22 months)!!! They helped us get through every sleep regression, leap, change, etc. Even the transition from crib to toddler bed. Life changing!"

  • "I knew sleep training was inevitable, and it was time for us to start, but it was something I was dreading as a first time mom. All you hear are the horror stories of how terrible those first few nights are. I knew that I was ready, and I wanted to commit 100%, but in order for that to be possible, I needed a plan. I did my own research and really had no clue where to start. That's when I came along Choose Joy Nursing's Instagram page I was immediately drawn to the education they provided on their page, and felt comfortable with their nursing background, as I'm a nurse myself. We did a virtual telephone call as I'm from Boston. Lauren was so compassionate and took time to learn about me, my husband, and our sons background and routines. She gave us a clear cut plan that aligned with our goals and our lifestyle. Our baby transitioned to his crib with little to no problems! We were shocked! We attribute this to the bedtime routine she recommended, and the plan we had to go by. I would highly recommend anyone who needs some help with sleep training to consider reaching out to Lauren and her team. It was one of the best investments we have made for our baby and ourselves.
